At NETCO we recognize the privacy expectations of today’s consumers and the requirements of federal and state privacy laws. NETCO will collect only the information that is needed to serve you and administer our business. We also carefully limit and control how we share information about customers. We share customer information only as outlined in this Privacy Statement. We do not share customer information with non-financial companies to enable them to market their products and services directly to our customers.

- Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.
- Information we receive from others in your transaction.
Unless it is specifically stated otherwise in an amended Privacy Statement, no additional nonpublic personal information will be collected about you.
We may disclose any of the above information that we collect about our customers or former customers to our affiliates or to nonaffiliated third parties as permitted by federal and state law.
We may disclose information contained in title insurance policies, settlement statements, payoff letters, and other supporting documents we have or will obtain concerning your transaction.
Pursuant to Title V of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, you may “opt out” of the dissemination of any nonpublic personal information. In order to opt out you should contact a NETCO customer service representative at 1-877-77NETCO and indicate the information you do not want disclosed.
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information in order to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

“Cookie Use” and Electronic Logs
NETCO makes the following statement in regards to information gathering and dissemination practices for its web site at https://netcotitle.com and https://secure.netcotitle.com above and beyond the above.
A “cookie” is a small file containing information that is placed on a user’s computer by a web server. For the purposes of the aforementioned web site cookies are used to track whether or not you have internally authenticated with our system, what lender information you have previously placed in an order form (and only if you so choose), and to track what news items, if any, you have seen at this site. Any information that NETCO web servers may store in cookies is used for internal purposes only.
NETCO also maintains log files of all access to its site and also monitors network traffic for the purposes of site management. This information is used to help diagnose problems with the server and to carry out other administrative tasks. Log analysis tools are also used to create summary statistics to determine which information is of most interest to users, to identify system problem areas, or to help determine technical requirements.
Information such as the hostname, user-agent, referer, system date, URL, and protocol of the visitor are collected in these logs. This information is technical in nature and cannot be used to personally identify the visitor in question.
NETCO also maintains links to other sites on the Internet. NETCO is not and cannot be held responsible for the privacy practices or content of the sites that it links to. The consumer should make every endeavor to identify the privacy practices of those sites independent of NETCO.
None of the information collected by NETCO through automated means can be used to personally identify outside parties unless it is used in conjunction or by order of a law enforcement investigation or other legal proceeding.
